Please note: Due to safety concerns, absolutely no children under 12 years of age are permitted on our tour. This includes infants and babes in arms. This is a working chocolate factory, so there may be machines running which are very loud, and sudden loud noises are common. Please call us at (424) 240-8580 if you have any questions.

Our address is 2835 S. Robertson Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90034.

How long is the tour?

Approximately 45 minutes. It depends on how many questions you ask! We love to geek out about chocolate and answer questions!

Is the building wheelchair accessible?

Our factory is quite small, so while we can accommodate wheelchairs, please let us know ahead of time if anyone in your group will be using a wheelchair or walker so we can make accommodations. If you require additional assistance, please call us at 1-424-240-8580 or email us before booking a tour.

Can I bring a stroller?

Due to our strict regulations as a food manufacturing facility, strollers are not permitted on our tour.

Do you have parking?

We have 1-hour metered parking out front. There is free 2 hour street parking on the side streets.

What should I wear on the tour?

We recommend comfortable closed-toed shoes for the tour. Stiletto heels, fur, faux fur, feathers, and glitter are strongly discouraged inside the tour areas. LetterPress Chocolate is a fragrance-free facility, so please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne. Be sure to share these regulations with members of your party so everyone comes prepared.

What is your policy regarding children?

Given the format of our public tour, children under 12 years of age are not permitted on our standard factory tour. This includes babes in arms and infants.

How many people are on a tour?

Our public tours hold up to 8 people. Parties larger than 8 people may need to be split into separate times. Please call to discuss with us.

What is the difference between a private and public tour?

If you are booking a tour for more than 8 guests, please contact us directly. We require that groups of 9 or more guests book a private tour and provide a 50% deposit. Private tours are exclusive to your group and can hold up to 12 people.

What is covered in the tour?

The tour takes place in 3 sections. First, in the front area, we’ll discuss the history of the company, what does bean to bar mean, and post-harvest fermentation. Next, we go into the production area with hairnets and tour the machines with explanations and tastings along the way. Then, we come back into the front area and sample our different bars! Please note that our factory usually operates Monday–Saturday, and while you will most likely see machinery operating during the tour, we cannot guarantee what you will experience on any given day as our production schedule varies.

Can I take pictures/video on the tour?

Absolutely! You are encouraged to take as many pictures and video while on the tour and in the retail shop.

What is your cancellation policy?

All ticket sales are final. If you need to change the date or time of your tour, you may do so by calling (424) 240-8580. You can do this up to 24 hours in advance of your scheduled tour time. Please arrive 5 minutes in advance of your scheduled tour time so you don’t miss out on all the delicious chocolate! Please note that once you have paid for your tour, we only offer refunds 48 hours prior to the date of your tour.

What if I’m running late?

Our tours generally start right at the scheduled time. If you are running more than 5 minutes late, we ask that you give us a call at (424) 240-8580 so we can make a note of this and hold your spots. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we will require you to rebook your tour. Please note that if you need to reschedule less than 24 hours from your booking, we will charge you a $5 rebooking fee per person.

Can I tip my tour guide?

If you enjoyed your tour and would like to give your tour guide a tip, you are welcome to. There are no promises of inheriting a chocolate factory though. Of course, Yelp and Google reviews are awesome too!

What is the lead time for booking a tour?

Reservations are required. Weekends and holidays tend to book up quickly, so we advise booking 3-4 weeks ahead to get the day and time you desire. If you’d like to book a private tour for 9 guests or more, please contact us directly at (424) 240-8580 or email us.
